Beyond graduation, the dream continues — Timothy returns and wins gold
After graduating and starting a career, Timothy Xu (Tingwei) picked up his épée again, balancing work with training at Alliance Fencing Academy.
In Division I-A Men’s Épée he went 5–0 in pools — 24 touches scored, 7 received, +17 indicator — and entered direct elimination as the No. 2 seed. After a bye in the round of 64 he won five straight bouts: 15–5, 15–9, 15–12, 15–11, 15–8. First in a field of 40, an undefeated day, and an updated A26 rating.
Thank you to Alliance Fencing Academy for supporting his training and growth.
